Linaro

*Frozen Semen Only*

Linaro is deceased, but frozen semen is available.
The Verband said it was excellent quality, “the best we ever froze”.
16.3 Landgraf/Calypsoll/Ladykiller
Born 1989, Stamm 18 A2
You can’t do much better for bloodlines than Linaro. Please note his most impressive Stamm of 18 A2. His bloodlines reach very deep into the heart and history of Holstein. Linaro is Mr. GQ of the Verband stallions. He has no selfimage problems! As champion stallion of his 100 Day test in 1991 Linaro went on to the German riding horse championships in Verden. Linaro is also approved Danish Warmblood.

Linaro produces just about more Premium foals every year than anyone else. His offspring are characterized by their legginess and unmistakable beauty. He is also able to pass on his dark brown color, huge, elastic movement and jumping prowess. What a thrill it was to see Linaro produce the Champion Stallion at the 1997 Hosteiner stallion approvals in Neumunster, Germany.

When stallions are sold or leased by the Holsteiner Verband their availability as a breeding stallion is not usually listed in their annual Stallion Roster. In 2004, two years after leaving the Verband for America, Linaro remains listed as ‘standing’ (via frozen semen) at the Verband, a true acknowledgement of how the Verband holds Linaro’s worth.

Linaro daughter, Inara, being ridden by Frau Hannover, is winning at Grand Prix in Germary. A gelding son by Linaro is also showing at Grand Prix successfully in Germany. Linaro is a “must consider’ for your breeding program.

Of all Holsteiner stallions presented to the Hannoverian Verband for approval as improvement sires the Hannoverian Verband chose only Contender and Linaro. They chose Linaro because he adds ‘ elegance and movement’, to warmblood mares.

LINARO IS ALSO APPROVED HANNOVARIAN and Oldenburg Verband.

  • Congratulations to The Galloping Field, owners of Leondor (son of Linaro), who finished lst place at $25,000 Devoucoux Wild Card Grand Prix and 3rd at $30,000 HITS Commonwealth National Grand Prix.
  • Also continuing congratulations to Owner-Amateur rider, Elaine Sherer, who continues to show her Linaro son at Grand Prix dressage.

Linaro produces sporthorses in jumping, dressage, hunter and eventing!

What do people have to say about his offspring?

Our 2004 colt has it all; he is perfection; brains, beauty and movement but especially an even temperament out of a difficult tempered mare
